The 18 speed alteration from the standard 16 speed means this thing shifts, i'm yet to get it to top speed so I can't say more than that. The brakes need a warning, they stop you dead, I haven't ridden many calipers and slammed both front and rear when I tested it at speed, I nearly came over the top they'r so efficient - so only use one at a time :) The ride is smooth and precise largely due to the Alexis rims and GatorSkins rather than the Dawes wheel set. The gears shift smoothly in every configuration. The crank, bearing and general mechanics are without fault. It's much the same with the condition, immaculate, the paint design itself is unusual and not one that Iv'e seen before.
